Beatification of Mary of the Passion

"We, the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary, have the great joy of communicating to you that on 20th October 2002, Mary of the Passion will be declared Blessed by His Holiness Pope John Paul II.

This Sunday, 20th October 2002, World Mission Sunday, as well as being the feast of “Mater Admirabilis”, is the Year in which we celebrate the 125th anniversary of the foundation of the Institute, approach the conclusion of our General Chapter, and it is therefore a very significant date for us at this moment of our history and our journey."
